Compassionate communication between body, mind, spirit and a deep longing to move forward and begin healing with the matrilineal inheritance guided me to create this practice several years ago.
Last week, after helping co-facilitate an Introduction to Somatic Archaeology© Class with Dr. Ruby Gibson and a group of brave women, I followed the trail that presented itself in circle and was reminded of this practice and how important building love-bridges is in somatic intergenerational and ancestral healing practices.
Remembering and coming from a place of compassion and curiosity for our matrilineal inheritance can help us to lean in and make space to experience how we feel about our relational histories as we begin making coherent narratives that are holistic and consent-based with ourselves.
